There were times in life when you indeed listened, and you remember the sound of your voice, your highest self advising you and showing you the way. And then you wonder, How is it that sometimes it feels like I did not listen to myself for a long time? Because you fell in love with the idea of accepting a place that was not healing for you anymore, you tried to fit in that space to keep that idea alive. It was a place that did not feel authentic anymore, a place where you considered the importance of commitment and loyalty to others but not to yourself. But in fairness, you did listen many times when you were not feeling well and voiced your feelings and thoughts to others. You wanted others to listen and embrace your deepest desires and wishes. You wanted those longings to be cherished and respected. They were not. And as time passed, you wondered whether you should listen to yourself, and you gave yourself a new opportunity to create a space for healing. That space for healing is a space to sit and breathe. The space to heal might literally be to create a space you call your own with colors, shapes, corners, and spaces that make you feel good and connected. The space to heal might literally mean paying attention to each detail in your life and treating it with the utmost consideration. A space that will honor who you are. A space you will dedicate to yourself. A space to heal with no regrets because you are creating the conditions to feel better by stepping forward in your healing process. The space to heal might symbolically be where you create the conditions in your journey to healing from pain. It is a space where you allow yourself to be quiet and in silence while you consider your past and make sense of what happened. And it doesn’t have to be the first time. You might have been in this place of healing before, but knowing that healing takes on many layers, chapters, turns, and ways in which we become aware of new realities we have not been aware of before. Creating those spaces within to heal implies leaving behind the busy day to center yourself and feel. Creating those spaces within to heal implies loving yourself so much like maybe no one has loved you. Creating spaces within to heal implies connecting with your intuition, inner voice, and highest self, which at times will be at odds with even the closest people, your loved ones. It has taken you a lot of time and effort to learn how to trust your intuition and receive its guidance, and you will no longer let others take that away from you. You have done enough work on yourself to know what you witness, your observations, and your feelings about what is real. That is why it is essential to create a space for healing. It is a space where you honor your independent voice and learn to discern when others’ voices come from their connection to their highest self or from unhealed places. Know the difference. Discern and create the path forward, your healing journey. Comments are closed.
